Kathy Davey

Kathy Davey loves to work with beads and glass.  She learned the basic copper foil soldering technique from a hands-on class in 1990 but is self-taught in kiln-work techniques since 2005.  Her glasswork currently includes photo frames, pendants, sun-catchers, mosaics, and candle/soap dishes.  She began making bead jewelry at a very young age, but in 2002 has specialized in glass bead weaving incorporating semi-precious stones into most of her pieces.   Her work is intricate, yet it depicts a classic, simple look.  Her beadwork includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and anklets.  She is currently bringing her passion for jewelry and glass together by offering beautiful glass pendants.

Kathy was born in Saskatchewan Canada and has been living in the southern states for the past twelve years.  She currently resides in Rutledge, Tennessee with her husband.  You can view additional work (beads and glass) on her website at www.piecesbykd.com
